Granja Tres Arroyos has managed to place its products in a broad number of outstanding markets. In order to achieve this it is compulsory to work under the strictest international regulations, with top quality standards and preserving the environment and working conditions. Our slaughter plants are equipped with the latest technological systems for effluent treatment, which pour treated water to the watershed, and thus, preserving the environment. Granja Tres Arroyos has been a pioneer in the poultry industry to promote, incorporate and voluntarily certify the CDM Project (Clean Development Mechanism) defined in the Kyoto Protocol of the United Nations Framework Convention about changing weather patterns. The aim of this mechanism is to help developed countries to achieve their goals of reducing emissions and to encourage the sustainable development for developing countries. For this reason, by the implementation of this pollution prevention programme, our firm shows a responsible attitude towards natural environment preservation, avoiding insurmountable environmental problems and reducing waste of natural resources.
